"I enjoyed swimming in my private pool! The resort was amazing, clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I felt pressure to tip everyone, which was overwhelming as there are a lot of people helping you. There is a collective tip box but it doesn't include tipping the drivers and front office staff. In future I would let everyone know I will tip them on the last day and avoid the stress of having tip money with me all the time. "

"This is a tricky review because property itself is gorgeous and the staff are delightful. The large conglomerate that owns the hotel however we found problematic. Place is beautiful and in a unique location. Food varied from good to wonderful. The tents are delightful and comfortable and feel very private. "The place was awesome. The people were even better. It is located in a nice quiet area with a short walk into town or you can get a shuttle. We had early morning excursions and they accommodated our schedule with breakfast when we needed it. The place is super clean. They are always cleaning something. We especially like the front desk staff Charmine and driver Eric. But everyone we met was super friendly and nice. It was also great to have some English channels on TV. "

"The hotel was cozy, clean, and comfortable. It well served its purpose as a base for me while I visited the Falls several times. The neighborhood of the hotel was also charming. I’m a birder and managed to photograph more than 10 new bird species, separate from what I saw at the Falls. As a solo traveler, I especially welcomed seeing Faith’s friendly face every morning for the two days I spent at the hotel. I would stay at this place again and would recommend it to others. "

"This perfectly located hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Falls National Park has beautiful grounds (with antelope, baboons and, one night, a hippo), warm and helpful staff, delicious food and a beautiful pool. A shuttle was available to take us to its sister hotel (The Palms) to use its small but well equipped gym. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful modernized oasis with a secure courtyard with a swimming pool in the centre of Victoria Falls. The staff and management were very friendly and keen to get feedback. Large rooms with modern fixtures but traditional solid wood furniture. Lacks fridges and tv’s in the regular rooms but management is working on that. Like everything in Victoria Falls, it’s not inexpensive but worth it."

"There is only 7 rooms and they are very quaint and romantic with thatched roofs. Rooms are big with comfortable bed. Clean and tidy and serviced daily. Breakfast is included but takes an hour for an omelette so allow plenty of time. Pool is nice. Close to town but probably not walkable due to roaming animals. Taxi was only $5USD into town. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend especially for couples. "

"The staff were the starts of the lodge. Richard at the bar was a true gentleman. The catering staff were simply amazing and always polite. Let's not forget the gardner who kept the place nice and lush and the pool clean. Our son was in the pool everyday. Great fun."
