"We stayed in the refurbished train car and it was pretty funky . The shower was an old tub with a Gerry rigged shower head and the toilet was in a very small room( original bathroom) with a sink with broken fixtures. However it was definitely one of the most unique places we have stayed at and everything did work ok . Just felt like we were camping indoors. It was cozy I must admit. Very nice staff good breakfast "

"Absolut fantastisch. Das Hotel ist wunderschön mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Die Eigentümer und das Personal sind unglaublich freundlich und machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem. Der Ort ist sehr idyllisch und zum Milford Sound sind es nur 1,5 Stunden mit dem Auto. Das Apartment besteht aus Schlafzimmer, Bad, Toilette, Wohnzimmer und einer Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt."

"The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and dark/quiet at night. Super clean. Fridge and water kettle with extra counter and sink made basic food prep easy. Good Wifi and smart TV. "Nice property, rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but fairly standard size for this kind of place. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and parking was very easy. Only thing to be aware of is the shared bathrooms get very cold at night since they leave the windows open so be prepared if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night."

"The laundry service was good, very clean and efficient washing machines and driers. The bed mattress, in our room was very uncomfortable, a suggestion would be to consider replacing it. The end unit was under an external stairwell leading to units above, when the stairs were in use it was noisey. Lovely motel overall. Suggestion; Book for units upstairs and/ or not end units on lower floor."
