"Friendly staff"

"The property could use a little updating but other than that it really is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very communicative. They have everything you need. It is very easy to communicate via the app too."

"My two day stay at the Sand Pearl was kind of mixed. It is in a great location, the staff and service were very good. Food was just average. In general, the grounds and major traffic areas of the hotel were good, but compared to other places that I've stayed at in Clearwater, St Pete, or other beach front locations, there were a few things that they could do better with. In general, the room itself had a few issues, and comparatively speaking the quality was less than with other hotels. They charged $45 per day for parking, which seemed higher than necessary, but they charged for it, because they can get away with it, so they did. There were other little things, that they could have done better with. I don't mean to be picky, but I was starting my day, and went to go turn on the TV, and the remote didn't work. There was a wrap around the remote indicating it was "cleaned", but it was missing a battery. Just a few examples that I didn't run into at other high end hotels. So, again, kind of picky, but again, comparatively speaking I have stayed at other hotels/resorts that charged a comparable rate, where they did a better job on the "little things". Just in general, it seems like their management should take a step back, and really decide who they want as their primary customer base. Currently, there just seems to be a conflict between whether or not to cater to families with young children, people getting married on site, or other considerations."

"Had 1st floor room near pool. Balcony did not have the best view of the gulf. Mostly the parking lot. Nice pool area with hot tub. Really nice deck with views of the water. Good selection of walkable restaurants nearby. Liquor store and market across the street. Safe area to walk even at night. Hotel next door has lot of music thumping late into the night. Awesome views of the sunsets. Will probably stay here again. "

"Clean and tidy establishment"

"Took a day trip to Clearwater to decompress before heading back home. Stayed at Sheraton Key Resort based off of availability and the pool/beach. The pool definitely looks better in pictures however it was nice! The beach is beautiful and they have a golf cart drive you the short distance. Chair rentals are not included in the stay. I paid over $500 for this stay so for me only way I can justify that is by the pool and beach. The hotel itself is not 4 star in my opinion. The rugs are dirty, the rooms you can tell are renovated but still give that old room renovation feel. The balcony’s are old and chairs on them are dirty. The pricing for a night to me wasn’t fair but it also could’ve been because I booked last minute and on a weekend. If cleanliness and the feeling of being in 4 star hotel is top priority for you, I’d pay the extra money for a different hotel. I won’t be back however it did its job. Also it is pretty far from the downtown area that has all the shops and restaurants but a trolly can take you there! I didn’t know the pier 60 area existed until I googled which I’m glad I did."

"This is an ideal place to vacation with your family and friends! The view from the pool area is spectacular! The staff is very helpful and nice! The gulf view rooms are worth paying the added amount! The food was all delicious. We will return!"
