"Check-in was quick and easy. As we left the elevator I noticed an extremely loud noise in the hallway which I attributed to housekeeping using a vacuum cleaner somewhere in our vicinity and I did not give it a second thought. After about 30 minutes I realized that the noise was not going away and I started to investigate. The noise was coming from behind a locked door next to our room and I figured that it was some kind of power type room with equipment inside. The noise registered at 80db according to my iPhone so I went to reception and requested another room which the clerk was more than happy to dive to us. As we entered this room we were facing the street and the road noise was extremely loud, but to make matters worse, directly across the street is a construction site and bulldozers and bucket loaders were busy working. I did not wish to be a pest so we just sucked it up and dealt with the noise. The construction noised stopped at 5 PM but began again promptly at 7 AM. My sleep during the night was constantly being broken up by the constant traffic noise. I was grateful that we were only staying the night. The staff were really kind and helpful and the breakfast was on par with other Day’s Inn’s that I have stayed at."

"The room was nice and staff were great. They had free cookies at the front desk. We did not give an excellent rating for the hotel only because of our preferences-we do not like the pre baked eggs and sausage so went somewhere else to eat. We also felt the Direct TV did not give the channels we like to watch in the evening."

"Parking was easy, breakfast was nice, I had kids so it was nice to get that meal to them, they loved the waffle maker. The hotel itself id never stay at again. We were on the third floor and there was a party being had in one of the hotel rooms a few doors over both Friday night and Saturday night which kept my kids up. There was used soap bars in our shower and although I didn’t see anything on the bed, I definitely had a good itchy going on. The pool was nice and not too deep, they supplied pool towels. Staff was friendly."

"After we checked in @ the front desk we went to our room & immediately noticed the TV was programmed in Spanish & the closed captioning was not working at all. We both speak English & my wife is deaf so the close captioning is a NECESSITY for her & not a luxury. I went to front desk asap & had another one of the employees come to fix this problem. He couldn’t get the remote control to properly program the TV so he went downstairs to the get a new remote control. He came up to the room with a new remote but that didn’t fix the problem. The original person we checked into the hotel said that she would try to find us a room that had a properly functioning TV in English with the close captioning working. She located a similar room but upon turning on the TV in that room the identical issue of the TV programmed in Spanish and no functioning closed caption occurred in this room as well. I asked this front desk employee what other options she might have but nothing was offered. I asked her if I could get a refund for the lack of access to a TV with closed captioning since the property had advertised this on the 3rd party website . She said I’d have to talk to the manager @ check out the following morning. Upon checking out I personally spoke to the manager who stated that since I made the reservation through a 3rd party website she could not make any refunds or adjustments. She stated that I would have to contact them myself. Lack of compassion for people with hearing disabilities "

"The hotel was clean in every place we went-- lobby, stairwell, hallways, and the room itself. The bed was comfortable, the thermostat was easy to work, and the window shade blocked out all the light. It's off the main roads, and even though there's a train track behind the property, the outside noise was minimal. The room was quiet, and even though there were strong odors in the hallway, emanating from other rooms, they didn't travel into the room. Everything in the room was in good condition, even if it wasn't brand-new. It was a clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay for one night. "
