"A basic hotel but very friendly staff and a comfortable bed. We didn’t try the breakfast as there were a lot of coffee shops/bakeries close by. I might choose this hotel on another visit to Barcelona as the location felt safe and was not too busy."

"Fantastic location. Room was incredible- spacious, well decorated, comfortable bed, great bathroom with shower and separate tub. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Central location."
"Hotel is a great location. The general area’s lovely, the rooms are tired compared with the general area, but nice enough for a short stay. Entrance lobby & bar are super, lovely smell & great way to enter a property. View from the bar over the port is fab.
However the operation of the hotel is a nightmare. Completely disorganised, reception, breakfast all a nightmare.
During our stay there was a corporate pool party till 1am and the people in the next room set the fire alarm off smoking....

"It might not be for everyone, because it's not a hotel, but a hostel, so you need to know that you will share bathroom and other facilities (even if you have your own room, which I did). You will probably also need to climb stairs, so, if you have a problem with that, you need to alert them in advance.
That said, you are getting what you paid for, so, if you're working on a tight budget, this is great. It's a short walk from the nearest Metro, there are several nice restaurants and take-aways in the area, it was mostly quiet (it's a hostel, remember), and the staff were friendly and accommodating."
