"My two coworkers and I needed a nice and safe place to stay while we were in Barcelona for the weekend and Be Mate Travestevere was excellent! Excellent location with a great cafe next door and across the street. Super close to other great restaurants and close to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was immaculate, the beds were comfy and the decor was super cute. If you need a safe place to stay I would HIGHLY recommend this place. "Clean and comfortable room. Fabulous small communal kitchen area with fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Very pleased with the generous breakfast supplies of teas, milk, breads, ham and cheese. Barbara sent us very helpful details by WhatsApp about how to get into the property when it became apparent we would be late because of flight delays. "Lovely B&B in a renovated Italian villa. The neighborhood was safe, the room was pretty and clean, and so quiet, I never heard my neighbors. I learned upon arriving that this is a B&B, not a standard hotel. I arrived after the 8pm check-in closure, and had to call the place to get in. I'm extremely grateful to the kind woman who runs this place for getting up in the middle of the night to let me in! She was very kind and accommodating."

It’s not overly touristy with great local vibe and day and night life. We were able to walk across the river every day for all the big atttractions. Hotel is clean, staff is accommodating.
