"Stone Park was a great place to stay! It's brand new, so everything is clean and really nice. It was great to have the 2 rooms, plus a fridge and stove. Everyone front the hotel was really friendly and excellent to work with. It is on the south side of Ellsworth, so it is easier to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor. "

"This was a great choice for our family of two adults, three teenagers and two dogs. The location was close enough to Bar Harbor without the high cost of lodging. The rooms are newly renovated with efficiency kitchens. The full size refrigerator allowed us to stock up on food from Walmart and eat throughout of four night stay, which saved us a lot of money. The daily breakfast had a lot of hearty offerings. The afternoon cookies in the lobby were an added treat. This hotel offers a gym and soon their pool will reopen. All employees from Katie at the front desk to the ladies in housekeeping were all so pleasant and nice to speak with. Even from my first phone call to this hotel to add my dogs to the reservafion, everyone was always so polite and professional. I'm glad we chose Hawthorn Suites for our time while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. We had a great four nights here. If we ever come back to Acadia, we would not hesistate to rebook another stay here! "

"The view of the water at the rear of the property is beautiful. Sunset and sunrise are gorgeous. The accommodations are simple but our room was clean and everyone who worked there was incredibly nice"
