Very characterful but be prepared for stairs and steep slopes

Great apartment, clean and good size, very comfortable for family of 2 adults and 2 children. Would recommend to anyone staying in Heraklion. Easy access to centre and bus to Knossos.

We had a town view room but it was still lovely. and the room was nice and bright. The breakfast was very rich, enough to fill your eyes. Also a lovely restaurant and bar. The service was very considerate and the staff were fantastic. Also the hotel itself provided excellent arranged day trips all over the island for a small fee, where we were collected from the hotel. If we go back to Iraklion again we will stay at this hotel AGAIN. Within walking distance, or a short bus ride, either a tour...

Really friendly welcome even though we were late arriving. Rooms are stylish, modern and clean. We only stayed one night as we were moving to a resort the next day but would definitely visit again.

Everything about this hotel is perfect, lovely and comfortable rooms, great staff and good location. Dimitris went above and beyond for us, perfect stay! Thanks so much.

We arrived after a late flight into Heraklion, the welcome was warm with the offer of a cold welcome beer. The room was more than we expected woth plenty of space and good amenities. Morning arrived and we had a fabulous breakfast out on the deck admiring the view over the valley. We only spent a night here bit wish we could have had 1 more. Highly reccomended

Absolutely top quality apartment. Everything perfect 👌

This was our second time at Sofia Hotel. we arrived Friday 15th September after a late flight. It's conveniently close to the airport. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We ate a light tasty meal, followed by cretan wine. We felt so relaxed. The hotel offers a comfortable nights stay. By morning we felt refreshed. Breakfast was most pleasant sat outside. It's up to you if you sit in or out. The choice of breakfast was vast. It ranges from continental, cooked, cereals, fruit and...

Excellent property and service as always!

I had a really nice stay at Chapter 02 Gallery Suites. The apartment was clean and comfortable, communication with the staff via WhatsApp was smooth, and check-in and check-out were straightforward. A special mention goes to the lovely team at Chapter 03 Café Bistro. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious, and the place was busy every day, which says a lot about its popularity. It’s not a traditional Greek taverna, but the menu offers Greek-inspired dishes, from Greek salad to creative burgers...

Lovely , well appointed spacious room Staff charming

Loved the modern design and well equipped room. Convenient location, only an easy twenty minute walk to the city centre. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within 2 minutes of the hotel. Easy ten minute walk to catch direct local bus to Knossos, you don't need an expensive tour bus, as I went for the eight am opening to miss the crowds and had left by ten am when all the tour busses turn up.

This is a new hotel. Room was lovely - huge with beautiful views and a private hot tub on the very large balcony. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel caters for all ages. It is spotlessly clean and well maintained in a good central location for all sightseeing needs. It has a blue flag beach and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for all. There are 3 pools of varying sizes and 1 is heated, we went early season so none were crowded. The food is buffet style plentiful, fresh and of a good variety so even after a week you have had a different meal every day. They are not that hot on getting deserts right though with the exception...

We were the only guests and were very well looked after.first rate Cretian breakfast. Bed linen changed after two days. We used their Taverna in the evenings. I would say a car is a must. The olive oil, wines (red and White House ,herbs and capers all home produced including the Rakl. Pretty easy to go north or as the main road is only minutes away, views are fantastic. Cash for restauran

Stayed from 3/8/15 to 15/8/15, all inclusive. Great staff, great facilities, great location, hotel has private beach with a decent number of sunbeds. Although I have food allergies I could have a substantial meal at each sitting, chef being very helpful with advising as to ingredients of each dish. Whether you prefer the beach or the pool for lounging, get out there early as the hotel was predominantly occupied by French and German guests who seem to have an ethos of put your towel on the sunbed...
