"Great stay, hotel in great location, lots to do and places to eat-staff was just ok, we had to wait 3 hours for check-in, meanwhile we waited in the car and saw families getting checked in before us, every time I checked in, they said sorry we have no rooms ready-when I asked about the other families being checked in before us and that we had a very long travel and were exhausted, just got looks and nothing else only the reminder about how check in was at 4pm. No explanation as to why others got their rooms before us. Oh well. "

"I didn't even check in, I just turned around and drove back home. Disgusting, dirty, black homeless guys walking around outside, and they charge $35/night for PARKING."

"The breakfast buffet was very good, although I was under the impression it was included with the room, but I obviously misunderstood. So breakfast was $50 for 2 people. You can order from the menu instead, which we did in day 2, but it was still $50. If you are a big eater, it's worth it. You do get a lot. The bar is very over priced too, but that's what you get from a hotel bar. Pappadeaux is right next door & drinks were $3 less. We did order food from the bar as well & it was very good. I would stay here again."

"The room was nice and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet is overpriced for what was offered. The food was not terrible but not great. The front desk staff employees were very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. "

"Not everything in Texas is bigger. The rooms are small. No lobby. 8th floor lounge was closed with events, patio closed. Location was close to state building. but the walk required walking past homeless zombi drug addicts. I would stay closer to the river or the other side of the river."

"I saw 4 drug deals go down. There was NO hot water. There was no remote for the tv I went to the office to get one and the remote didn't work. There were people yelling and loud cars in the middle of the night. Will never stay there again. "
