"The room was large. the bed was firm . There were no safety bars for someone who had to use the bath tub/shower. The environment was quiet. The breakfast room was strictly self service. I didn't like that the eggs in the refrigeraton were hard/soft boiled. There was nothing hot that the guest didn't have to prepare(except the coffe). I left a nice tip for housekeeping."

"I have never complained about a hotel before however, Soto was quite overpriced for what it was. The young female bartender was extremely inhospitable and rude to my friend and to another couple. She actually sneered l. The front desk woman seemed utterly harassed when we checked in—no smiles, no welcome.. just an awful experience. There was a smell of faint sewage or something foul in the lobby and halls and they were trying to cover it up with the use of scented air fresheners… No apology...

"The Shaker Mill Inn is located in West Stockbridge so it is away from the dense tourist traffic in Stockbridge, but is located with easy access to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Norman Rockwell Museum, and I90 and the rural Berkshires. The garden was wonderful with many flowers in bloom—very pretty. The breakfasts were tasty. The Meadow bedroom was large with 2 reclining chairs, small dining table, small kitchen area with the necessities, and good air conditioning. It also had a porch, which was...
