"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent.
The only things I would love to see...

"Very spacious room, great welcome and all clean. The breakfast was Hampton top of the line.
My only issue is if it's Hilton mandate not to have a daily housekeeping tidy-up, that needs to be stated clearly up front, actually at booking. I'd rather book two single nights than have to make my own beds and tidy up while on holiday. That's not a holiday."

"Check in was friendly and fast. I would stay here again and again. After we checked out I realized that I left two sentimental bracelets on the nightstand and went into a full panic. We called the hotel and they immediately went to the room, found them and held them until I could pick them up."
