"Moral of the story: I paid for a budget hotel and got a budget hotel.
This was the only hotel on the beach under $200 a night on 2 days notice. Not a 4 star property but it was exactly what you would expect from $190 a night. The staff was great and the location was pretty good. This place definitely had its quirks.. the room was nice, but the bathroom doesn't have ventilation so after a shower it would be a steam room for 2 hours. The AC also barely works and the curtains have to be open 24/7 as they are too long and completely cover the AC when closed. the pools have limited seating but we never had a problem, dont even bother trying to get a chair by the infinity pool. The beach was great but they try to charge you 40 bucks for an umbrella and there's about a foot between each chair, not exactly relaxing, $25-50 for early check in, and $28 for a burger and fries. Everything there is certainly overpriced but it's a 15 minute walk to the main spots. The hotel was very busy and very loud. I personally would not stay here again, but this is exactly what I expected. Its fine in a pinch, Some people book a hotel for under $200 per night and expect it to be the four seasons.. Have realistic expectations for the cheapest hotel on the beach!"
