"Close to everything Nice area"

"I really like this hotel in terms of location, quality of rooms, and price. They even upgraded us to a suite. One frustration this time is that the heat did not come on. It just blew cold air. I notified the front desk and they said that the hotel can only do AC or heat on any given day and that they were in AC mode. That's frustrated because they did not inform us in any way about that. They ended up bringing up a space heater, which mostly solved the problem, but they should have been more...

"It was a very cozy boutique hotel; lots of charm! The staff was very friendly and approachable. If I had one minor issue it would be the in-room coffee was not good at all. Cafe Valet needs to retire! Luckily, there was a great coffee place a few doors down from the hotel. My husband and I would definitely stay there again."

"This is an older hotel which has been kept in pristine condition. The front desk staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. They even provided individual toiletries instead of the big pump bottles attached to the wall which are increasingly prevalent. My room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. I felt like the service was what we expected and received years ago but which is sadly lacking in many hotels today! The second floor all day...

"Very clean and comfortable boutique hotel in Foggy Bottom. The area had some very good restaurants in walking distance and the Kennedy Center is also very close. The staff was quite helpful and they have a good selection of food and snack items for purchase but the hotel is cashless. They also have beer & wine but can only sell them til 5 pm. Liked the fact that the room had a Keurig with Caribou coffee."
