Lovely apartment in a good location. Very clean and generally well appointed. Office building it was set in was a little scruffy and the lifts were old. Short walk to a lot of restaurants and the port. Central square was 10 mins walk away. WiFi worked well and spa was a welcome bonus.
The reasons that it does not get excellent and 5 stars is because there were silly things that let the apartment down. These minor things could be rectified and turn the apartment into an excellent place.
1. No instructions for any of the appliances or the spa. We never found out what one remote control serviced.
2. Air conditioning unit was not powerful enough to keep apartment cool. Needs upgrading.
3. Two of the four chairs had been assembled incorrectly so that they wobbled and did not sit flat on floor. It appeared the legs had been put on in wrong positions.
4. The bathroom door was designed to open both ways but it could not open inwards as the light switches were in the way and when it opened outwards it hit the side of the bed.
5. The bidet hose tap in the bathroom was leaking and had to be kept switched off.
6. No oven gloves provided so removing items from the hot oven was difficult.
7. Hanging light next to vanity mirror was flickering and not working properly.
8. No instructions on recycling waste were found so not sure what could be recycled.
These did not spoil the holiday but sorting them out would make this an even better apartment.
