"Our room was immaculate and fresh and extremely comfortable The staff were very helpful and very pleasant. the dining room was beautiful with a sea view from all tables it has been newly renovated with lounge seating area adjacent to it. Food and drinks were excellent and good choice on the menu this is a beautiful hotel with a unique setting and gardens leading down to the sea"

"Great location and lovely rooms. The bed was super comfy and we had a great sleep. Though hotel was very busy it was also very quiet. The hotel is also very pet welcoming. Only food available in the evening was in the bar and to be honest the menu is not appropriate for a large hotel with only 4 starters ( of which one was unavailable) and six main courses - 4 of which came with boiled rice. This really needs improvement. The waitress ( there was only one) was lovely, very busy but also very courteous , attentive and friendly. Breakfast was continental but lots to chose from and good, fresh produce. Would absolutely stay again but unless menu changes would eat in nearby Helensburgh."
