"Lovely place with spacious rooms and charmy brick walls. Rooms were clean and functional. Some wear and tier is everyware. But it was not critical for us. Unfortunately the food in restaurant (bistro) over dinner was not meeting our expectations and was overpriced. All the fried bits were cooked on old smelly oil, so we were not able to eat it. "Simple room in great location above a pub. Noise was no issue and short walking to all mention Nelson Bay. Friendly Staff and good value breakfast."

"Very easy check in and friendly staff and service with a smile. Rooms were clean and air conditioning kept us warm. We didn't hear any noise from neighbours either side of our room. Very quiet surrounds. Easy access to club from motel. All on one level. There is a usable laundry for guests if required. An enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back."

"Enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Seaside Holiday Resort Final Bay. The room had everything you would expect including milk and coffee. They are very clear in their communications that they don't make up beds (and charge a fee to do so), but that doesn't make it ok. It's unfortunate that this kind of cost cutting (along with extremely limited reception hours) is becoming common after Covid, and also feels unhygenic. I would be more likely to stay again if they offered full service, for this price...
