"Booked private tours through the hotel with Hany before we arrived he is an absolute gentleman. Couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend booking through him. The tour guide we had was mairead (probably spelt wrong) was extremely knowledgeable and lovely as was Michael our driver. The hotel is undergoing renovations but that can’t be held against them. We were in room 402 with a front Nile view and it was amazing. We got to watch the sunset every night and would have sun on the balcony in the afternoons The food in the main restaurant for breakfast was very good with a good selection as was the buffet at dinner We ate in Beban their Italian it was ok but to be honest the food in the buffet was nicer Good sandwiches in the Lotus cafe Any staff we encountered were always polite and helpful special shout out to the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room daily and did an excellent job Would highly recommend and hopefully we will be back"

"Words cannot do justice to this treasure of a place tucked away on the East Bank of Luxor. It immediately transports you to another time and makes you feel absolutely at peace. Djorff Palace is the only place that truly does justice to everything Luxor has to offer—history, culture, a sense of belonging, and the most uniquely wonderful host, Dr. Marina! We stayed in the Emerald Room, waking up to the most beautiful sunrises, visible right from our balcony. Breakfast was prompt and on point, and the staff was friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, Wi-Fi worked well, and room service was delicious and prompt—especially the sweet lassi! We even spotted hoopoe birds and lizards right from our room. We also had our laundry washed, pressed, and returned the same day for a modest price. The hotel has its own felucca, offering pickups and drop-offs to and from the West Bank for a very reasonable 150 EGP (approximately $2.85 USD). When we inquired about the famous Luxor sunset felucca ride, we were offered a private ride on the hotel's felucca for just 300 EGP, which we happily accepted. We had the entire boat to ourselves, and the experience was unforgettable! Thank you, Dr. Marina, for making Luxor the best part of our Egypt trip. Truly an unparalleled stay!"

Mahmoud was fantastic 🌟The hospitality was warm, genuine, and unforgettable. The hotel has such beautiful, authentic Egyptian character. It’s not about luxury or being fancy—it’s about art, history, and feeling connected to the culture. Every corner has something special. The Wi-Fi was 10/10, which was honestly something I had struggled to find during my trip. And the Egyptian breakfast was delicious! The falafel, eggs, fries, vegetables, and all the different flavors were such a wonderful experience. Thank you for making my stay so special. I will be coming back to Egypt next year, and I will definitely stay at Cleopatra Hotel again. ❤️🇪🇬"
