"Our overall stay at the hotel was great. The staff were friendly, the lounge was nice, and the location was great. The staff at the front desk helped us to schedule a taxi to the airport which was awesome. The staff said the cost would be 12,000 yen or about $76 usd, great! However, the taxi driver picked us up, and our Google map said the ride was 30 mins to the airport. The driver did not use a map and took us extremely far away from the airport, and the ride took over an hour and a half. Upon arriving to the airport the charge was about $27,000 yen, which is over double what the hotel staff told us. The driver understood no English and we had absolutely no time to discuss the charge. I was unable to leave a review for the driver due to not setting up the ride myself. I know this isnt 100% the hotels fault, but they did falsely advertise the ride and it ended up costing a lot of money. If theres a way to contact the taxi service id appreciate that. Other than the ride to the airport which was extremely stressful, the hotel was wonderful."
