10/10 Excellent

Thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay with half board, it felt really pampering and luxurious and excellent value for money. My Japanese style room was enormous and very comfortable. Having the onsen baths just a few floors down meant that I could enjoy it in just a few moments from leaving my room. I particularly loved the outdoor pool set into the forested cliffside, especially when it is lit up at night. There are lots of little touches like the free popsicles outside the bath area, and the...

It was as if taking a step back in time. Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever. Great amenities, a karoke room, natural onsens, a library and not to mention both a wonderful supper and breakfast, not to mention buffet style. My only regret is not booking another night! And the highlight for me was sitting in the...
