Besides an old springy bed and flat useless old pillows, the charges to my credit card were my main issue. I paid in full in advance for my room through Hotels ca/Expedia. I checked out in the morning, no issues, and when looking at my credit card transactions later on, I noticed 2 pending La Quinta Inn charges on my statement. A pet fee, which I was expecting, and also the full amount for the room. Called the hotel to ask what was the reason, desk agent flat out said it's not there and I needed to call the manager. Funny she was the exact lady that handled my check in the night before. Why would a manager who wasn't there know more than me. Called La Quinta customer service directly and they were even more oblivious and didn't even know what amount is held on a card for incidentals. Regardless, after check out that amount should have been released. "
