"A good basic hotel with everything we needed for a 3-day stay. Room was very comfortable, with a king size bed and even a little sitting area with couch and chair and table. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, with a good coffee machine (choices of different types of coffee, which was very nice!) Location good, walking distance to a pretty good Mexican restaurant, and fancier restaurants just a few minutes away. Penn Yan is a cute little town right on beautiful Keuka Lake...very peaceful and serene. The whole area is absolutely beautiful. We drove all over and really enjoyed the wonderful scenery. Most of the activities we did seemed to be more south, however (like Treman State Park, Buttermilk Falls, Watkins Glen, Montour Falls, Ithaca) and the town is a bit too far away from many of those places. Next time we'd probably stay closer to the southern part of either Seneca Lake or Cayuga."
