Room was great. Grounds were tidy, private and convenient. Beds comfy. Staff friendly. And we were pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast that was included. Overall great location and value for money. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Shower recess had fuzzy mould and pink mould in some of the grout lines.

We loved our stay in the superior family apartment! It was spacious and comfortable! The pool was so serene and gave off resort vibes! Happy hour by the poolside and a 2 piece band on the Saturday late afternoon/evening. Breakfast for 2 included. You'd need a car if you stayed here as it would be a hike to The Strand.

Little family get away from Mackay was awesome. Room was much nicer than expected, although the bathroom could use an extraction fan, it was very nice. Wife and I enjoyed the soft bed, kids loved the bunks! Pool area was fun and easily accessible from our room. Food was ordered in to our room, a little basic, but yummy. Breakfast in the restaurant was a bit average, but there was a good amount on offer that was complimentary. Overall, we had a great time, we will be back and have told people to make it a spot they stop when in Townsville.

Need to advertise closure of restaurant.

I booked for our wedding anniversary because we had been there before and it was great. This time the restaurant and bar was closed. We’re not told that when booking and weren’t told when we arrived. Just would have been nice to know for planning. We would have stayed somewhere else if we knew. So when it came to dinner time we ended up with pizza delivery.

The pool is green and has resulted In ear infections both husband and son currently in hospital getting treated. Xmas eve we had people partying until 4am and no one from reception answered calls for complaints. This was great timing as Santa found hard to come!!

Facilities recently upgraded and very nice. Staff no help at all, in fact rude at check in. Restaurant very average, one poor overworked person serving bar, seating patrons, taking meal orders, delivering meals, and working payments.
