A lovely spot in the middle of the old centre of Trani. Very close to shops, restaurants and the harbor. The place is clean, cosy and the owner lives nearby. Very friendly owner and hospitable. The breakfast was at a coffeebar closeby; cute and well arranged. A simple, but perfect breakfast. Trani is beautifull! We made a daytrip to Bari by train (very easy); also great. And we even rent a car for one day and drove to Sassi, Matera. Excellent trip to do! We have enjoyed our stay a lot!

Cool and charming

We were only in Trani for 2 days/ one night. Michele's place was nice and cool, very spacious. had basic kitchen crockery & lovely linen. No cooking facilities but not a problem with so much on offer a few steps away. Includes breakfast (cappuccino and pastry) just around the corner. In the Old Town within walking distance of the port and major monuments. Such friendly people in Trani!

We enjoyed our vacation at "Ai Carretieri" a lot. The accomodation is very nice. The lessor was very kind and asked often, whether everything is fine and brought us new towels an toilet paper without asking in the middle of our week. We will come again.

It's not like the photo, it's noisy, you can hear everything from the room next door, we couldn't sleep and the bed wasn't comfortable at all

Non all'altezza

Dispiace criticare perchè si nota lo sforzo fatto per rendere abitabile una comunque affascinante ex sacrestia sotterranea. Ma: 1) il freddo umido che impregna i materassi (peraltro con lenzuola posate direttamente sul materasso, poco igienico) 2) il bagno che si allaga ogni volta che si apre un qualsiasi rubinetto (lavandino, bidet, doccia che sia) 3) la porta del bagno ormai gonfia d'acqua che non si chiude neanche per metà 4) la totale mancanza di insonorizzazione per cui il vicino di camera alle 5 del mattino ha acceso la TV ed era come se fosse direttamente in camera nostra. D'accordo la tariffa era bassa ed il titolare gentile, ma questo B&B deve migliorare.
