"The hotel is fully remodeled and looks beautiful. Our issue with the room was that the AC did not work. We reported it the front desk and was told that the entire building’s AC was shut down for winter and would not turn on. We stated we need to have some type of cool circulation and was told to open the balcony doors. Upon opening the balcony doors this proceeded to bring in bugs and the noises from passing vehicles which kept us wide awake all night. Not everyone is accustomed to sleeping...

"Beautiful location and beautiful building right kn the middle of a plazza. Three things to keep in mind: we had no blankets in the room so it was quite chilly during the night in October. We just had the bedsheets. The property is advertised with breakfast included but when going down to breakfast we were told that Tuesdays there is no breakfast as the barman has its day off. "It is an old convent, still partially in use? Right on the water, awesome, rustic for sure. Dont expect hotel chain experience, this stay is about the awesome staff, great locationnand quiet , clean place. Very unique."

"Ottima comunicazione e reattività nei messaggi. Buona disponibilità del proprietario. L'alloggio è pulito e ha tutto il necessario. È un po' scomodo avere il bagno fuori dalla camera e le scale della casa sono strette. L'edificio e le camere sono state ristrutturate da poco. La camera è un po' piccola ma ha un balconcino privato che è comodo."

"to begin with I have to admit I liked the 501 against my better judgement at times but the location and views allows a lot to be forgiven. I can imagine the 501 in its glory days would have been spectacular. the architecture is still on place and quality never goes out of style. however the old girl does look a little tired and could benefit from a little renovation in places. the staff, mainly Italian or course and many locals, can be a little abrupt or disinterested when they are busy...
