This was such a cute property, beautiful courtyard in the day and evening it was very inviting. The rooms were charming with antiques but still had modern comforts. Comfortable beds, very quiet and secure parking. It was also very close, walking distance, to all the action on a Saturday night.
The Downtown Suite is opulent and comfortable. With a full kitchen and dining room, it would be a fine option for an extended stay entertaining guests.
Really lovely and unique property. We had a mixup with the check in info and within minutes of leaving a message it was sorted out. Have already recommended it to others and will stay here again when next in Tucson.
A very unique property. We were skeptical of no on site personnel but everything went without a hitch. The property is immaculate and the room exceeded our expectations. We look forward to staying again the next time we come to the Old Pueblo.
We have now made this hard go to place in downtown Tucson. Easy walking to great restaurants, bars and music venues. And nice outdoor spaces.

Nice accommodation for an older property. Loved the antiques and pictures.
Very eclectic property. We only stayed one night so we’re unable to appreciate the lovely secure courtyard. It was a convenient location for us but not sure I would have been happy walking around the area after dark. Very well appointed - excellent kitchen with lots of appliances and cookware.
A lovely place with beautifully maintained older, historic buildings and a spacious courtyard. The downtown, Congress neighborhood and numerous restaurants, bars, theaters and shopping areas iare within walking distance. Easy check in and locked parking. A great place!
This truly was a very special place. I have a sister who lives nearby in Tucson but didn't have room for me to stay. I was able to have her and the kids over for dinner and we sat outside by the fire pit and ate and played the wonderful games in the courtyard. It was very quiet and peaceful and it was a great place to have a miniature family reunion. The amenities are really excellent... The kitchen is fully stocked and the dining area and living room are large and very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this location.
We stayed in the 4th Ave House which worked well for us, as we were there for 6 nights. We had to call/text with the manager a few times for some small glitches, but he was very responsive and addressed those items quickly. The location is great for exploring downtown by foot.

Good location, nice courtyard
Missing some amenities like a full length mirror for dressing or a make up mirror and maybe a few extra pillows but over all a pleasant place to stay with lots of privacy and very convenient location and secured parking.
Really nice place. We stayed in the Persian room and enjoyed a very comfortable bed with nice soft sheets. Excellent hot shower. The grounds are attractive with lighted trees. We sat by the fire pit at night. Three short blocks to excellent restaurants. We’re glad we did not stay at the downtown hotels as it seemed really noisy Friday and Saturday night as walked around. Would definitely stay here again. My wife really loved it.
Great place to stay in a shady neighborhood. The property is well genced and well lighted. We enjoyed the property amenities and convenience of bei g able to walk to the gem and mineral vendors.

George,We appreciate your feedback. We consider the neighborhood not to be shady but more of a downtown vibe without the violence or robberies some of these larger downtown cities have. We are by far in the safest locations. The older buildings and antique homes do add character to our downtown location. We are glad it was convenient for you to attend gem show.Thank you,

Rose,We appreciate your 5 out of 5 review, the staff truly appreciates the recognition.Thank you
Arriving at the inn, we were surprised by the surrounding neighborhood. After checking in and taking a walk to dinner, we realized that Tucson is in transition and the empty lots with razor wire did not mean what they might in another city. We felt safe walking and enjoyed our stay. The gated parking was a plus. There were other guests but we never heard them. Everything was very clean and the portable heater worked well. This would be a fun place for an event.

Margaret,We appreciate the review and are glad you enjoyed your stay. Alot of people suspect that it is not safe to walk downtown but you are correct is safe and you can easily and safely walk to downtown and back to your rental at any time. We do offer events so keep us in mind if you ever need to plan an event.Thank you,
Great space, wish I had more time to enjoy the beautiful outside area. Walk to downtown and the neighborhood away from downtown has some beautiful homes.
We had a great stay at El Amador and wish we could have stayed longer. It's fairly close to restaurants and other things, but on a side street that we found quiet. The parking was definitely an added perk. Bathroom was quite large. The fountain/firepit/outdoor area was great and we wish we could have enjoyed it more!
It was convenient to the Congress St area. The room was comfortable enough. The bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. The only noticeable demerit was there was no place to sit to enjoy the tv other than the bed. It seemed odd to me.
was a great place to stay in downtown Tucson, had gated parking and the room was decorated in an eclectic style. We genuinely liked El Amador and would like stay again. The only misstep was the room had no coffee pods for the supplied keurig-style machine. Was a major bummer for a morning bike race, need that cup of coffee
This place is absolutely beautiful and a very short walk to 4th Avenue and downtown. The staff(owner) was very friendly and gave detailed instructions on codes/gates/locks.
Wasn't exactly certain what to expect but our actual experience was tremendous! Excellent location, loved the private parking, and the courtyard was gorgeous. Cant wait to stay here again!
The location is quiet but just blocks from downtown. Beautiful clean room. Appreciated the history and character of the property
