Explore ancient Mayan ruins perched dramatically on seaside cliffs, then cool off in the turquoise waters of Playa Paraiso. Snorkel through vibrant coral reefs, visit the immersive SFER IK museum, or unwind on pristine beaches like Tulum and Las Palmas.
The team at the Mx'axanab were fantastic and made our stay in mid November 2024 (10 days) very enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location, is modern in design but with a nod to Mayan culture, and feel like a high end experience.
The food and drinks were good quality and reasonable priced when compared to the very high prices on the main restaurant strip. Sunbeds were always available, the beach was immaculate and it was always enjoyable walking on the beach in either direction.

We left this place for the end of our trip. It was a very good decision.
If you want to do nothing and just be... it is the place.
We didnt have a car, so you need to take in mind yhat hopping to Tulum, reqiure Taxis.
But we knew that and did not want to leave.
Going Outside this is like going out of the bubble. Why pop it.
There were issues. Well it is 2022, staff is a challenging issue. But management aware, and knows to be accountant about un trained staff.

Great hotel. Service and food are outstanding. My only complaint might be that my booked "junior suite with ocean view" technically had ocean view if you count a tiny sliver of blue on the horizon. Apart from that the place is insanely comfortable clean and well organized and that in a huge jungle area. It's also very professionally las Vegas style American which may be a pro or con depending on what you looking for.
So all in all amazing hotel. Just don't sell somethibg as ocean view if you...

Sana was absolutely fantastic. Great location, staff are incredible. We had a room with a private lounge pool and it was absolutely spotless. Great air con, TV with Netflix (our other 2 Tulum beach hotels didn’t have this), great food and the architecture of the hotel is beautiful. Very peaceful and calming. We were also fortunate to see sea turtles nesting. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff make it particularly special.

Best hotel I have stayed in! Embedded in a jungle setting with bohemian decor, plunge pool on the entrance to each room as a basic level with top class rooms. A lot of effort and attention to detail goes into the hotel, with each evening outdoor camp fire lit with complementing outdoor candles, makes for excellent setting for a late night time swim in there 24 hour slightly heated swimming pool. Breakfast brought to our private pool side was a highlight before the morning 9pm yoga class....

Highly recommend!!! Our suite at this stunning hotel was mind blowing! Exactly what I wanted, perfect location on tulum beach, From the moment we arrived, there was ample car parking, great customer services and welcoming drinks. We were shown our suite located on the beach front after a very swift check in, walked through a jungle themed aesthetically pleasing pathway, Bedroom was very clean, included towels / beach towels / toiletries.
