Johan was super helpful, giving lots of recommendations and advice. The room was great with a beautiful view. Breakfast was huge and delicious.

It was a real treat to find an Expedia hotel that didn't disappoint. We were travelling Latin America and it was a real pleasure to stay at La Posada del Arte. The decor is fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and comfortable in this hotel. We only stayed one night as we had a strict time schedule. A person who likes a spotless, modern facility will not find this to their liking. We are antique buffs, and to live in a 50 year-old stone house with the main rooms on the planta baca and the sleeping rooms above. as would have been the custom in the old days, was a delight. The room and bath were charming, and the suitable décor was carefully chosen [and for sale]. The entire structure is made of stone--hence The Roka--and survived the earth quake of 1949 in tact. Great location next to waterfall and close to centre of town. The hotel buildings and rooms are much better than the website pictures. Enjoyed the pool, spa and breakfast and even had a massage. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great space, friendly staff and and helpful staff. Location out of the way but facilities make up for it.
