"The place was more run down than expected and felt closer to a motel than a hotel stay. One major issue was the bathroom setup — there was no shower curtain separating the shower from the toilet, so water got all over the toilet and floor every time the shower was used. The staff was very nice, and Scott was especially responsive, offered helpful suggestions, and did his best to accommodate our needs, which was appreciated. However, the cost was still very high at $718 for four nights. I assume...

"Bien que jolie avec une belle terrasse extérieure, cette maison manque d’entretien : porte de placard branlante, 2 lits qui grincent au moindre mouvement empêchant de dormir, un robinet de lavabo déscellé, micro-ondes en panne, porte d’entrée difficile à ouvrir, et interrupteurs difficiles à trouver. Nous avons été aussi un peu déçu de l’accueil froid de la propriétaire, pas franchement à l’écoute et peu prévenante: nous avons certes eu 1h de retard sur l’heure d’arrivée mais personne pour nous...

"Clean room and property. Free breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom did not have a door but a privacy screen was available to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. Showers took a while to warm up but never got hot, more like luke warm. But wasn’t too bad since the weather was hot and humid. "

"The bungalow was private and you can see toucans in your back yard. Isabella is amazing, she helped me order food for delivery in the rain, she helped organize excursions, she helped with bike rentals/organized tuk tuks, and recommended things to do around town/best sunsets. Anytime I am in Puerto Viejo I will stay at Villa Roca de Caribe for sure."

"Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. "

"La habitación estaba sucia, las cortinas soltaban polvo al moverlas, al encender el aire acondicionado soltó un olor bastante desagradable, el personal del hotel con servicio al cliente bastante pobre, el baño estaba empolvado y olía terrible.. el lugar es como que en algún momento estuvo bien pero está muy descuidado, de lo positivo la ubicación cerca de cocles y de puerto viejo y que está frente a la playa."

"Un hotel pequeño pero acogedor, con amenidades para descansar de todas las actividades que hay en la zona por realizar o sitios que conocer. Habitación descente, que parece están en proceso de renovación, por lo que asumo que las camas y otros elemntos de las mismas se estarán renovando."
