"The hotel and staff were very good, and the location was perfect.
However, we asked to get the sheets changed and were told no. There is only housekeeping every other day. We were then promised new sheets, which never arrived after we asked three times.
We visited the pool area, which is very nice, but at noon time, there were no towels. Asked when the towels would be available and was told between 3.30 and 4 PM. I wonder what the $118 resort fee is for. It is definitely not Towles. As part of...

"We stayed at The Gates Hotel in Miami during the week, and overall it was just an okay experience.
I do want to start by saying Carlos at check-in was very helpful—he was able to get us an early check-in, which we really appreciated after traveling.
However, once we got into the room, it felt very different from the lobby. The lobby is updated and gives a great first impression, but the rooms felt pretty rundown and very basic in comparison.
I also noticed that the hotel seemed understaffed....
