"The Kakslauttanen Artic Resort in Lapland, Finland was a spectacular place for a vacation! Our Igloo Cabin was beautiful; it included a sauna and fireplace and easily could have slept a family of six. The property included a planetarium, art museum, event center,and a reindeer/horse enclosure. The cabins were beautifully spaced across a beautiful property. The last night of our stay included an incredible northern lights display as there wasn't a cloud in the sky!"

"Mostly stunning. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is all about the glorious communal areas. The room (we went for one with a private sauna) was small, and pretty basic - with not even a bedside table on one side of the bed. No tissues in the room, and only a combined shower get/shampoo in the bathroom, if that sort of thing bothers you. These rooms also have a sauna building in front of them, so their view of the river is obscured. We were on a half board package. The food was...

"We did not use the ski slopes or their spa services since our flight came in at 6pm. We were able to check in about 30 minutes before 9pm so we were able to just go straight into our lodging and start relaxing and enjoying the views. In the morning, we were able to see that there was an reindeer farm next to us and were able to take photos of them. Their buffet breakfast was delicious. Although they did not have an overwhelming selection, but what they put out was absolutely divine and...

"Very clean and laid back place with an amazing view. It is in the wilderness but we have all the modern day comforts. There is very little light pollution and we just stared at the sky for the stars. "

"Wonderful stay at the Mobile Cabins. Great conversations with staff, super tasty food, beautifully built common area, and unique cabins. Would stay again! Try the kick sled out on the lake :) "

"This accommodation was the perfect end to our trip to Finland, the cabin was genuinely faultless, it was spacious and cosy, with a very comfy and warm feeling. The kitchen was was well equipped with pots and utensils etc for if you wanted to stay in and cook. The bed was comfy with a lovely view to wake up to. The shower and toilet facilities were immaculately clean with! Genuinely cannot pick fault with this place. The hot tub was the perfect end to every day and we even found time to jump in...

"Schöne Lage im Wald. Wir haben die eigene Sauna sehr genossen. Sehr gemütlich. Auch Rentiere haben wir tatsächlich 2x auf der Straße kurz vor unserer Unterkunft gesehen. An 2 Abenden haben wir auch Nordlichter gesehen, leider nicht sehr stark. Das Schigebiet Ylläs ist nicht weit entfernt. "
