The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino
10/10 Excellent
"It was very clean. Delivered shower chair with no problems"

Pittsburgh Marriott City Center
2/10 Terrible
"Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We booked and paid for a specific room through Expedia, only to be told upon arrival that the hotel no longer had that room available because they were overbooked. The front desk initially tried to place our family in a room with two full-size beds, which was not suitable for our family’s needs. After explaining the situation, they moved us to a different room, but the television did not work. We were assured that both the room situation and the TV issue would be resolved the following day. However, when we returned to the front desk the next day, we were again told the hotel was overbooked and that we would have to remain in the same room. The TV was never fixed. We later discovered the issue was that the room had a brand-new TV installed without a cable box connected to it. No effort was made to provide a cable box, repair the issue, or offer any alternative solution. To make matters worse, when we asked about compensation for not receiving the room we paid for and for the unresolved issues during our stay, we were told a refund was not possible. Instead, we were offered Marriott rewards points if we joined their rewards program. Since we do not travel frequently, those points would have been of little value and did nothing to address the inconvenience we experienced. Paying for a room that was unavailable, being placed in an unsuitable room, dealing with a non-functioning TV for the duration"

Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport
2/10 Terrible
"I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 PM with my young child, who was not feeling well and was already cranky from the long day of travel. To my surprise, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled. The front desk agent initially claimed that she had tried to contact me by phone. However, when I politely asked which phone number she had called, she was unable to provide an answer. Instead of showing any empathy for the situation, she repeatedly blamed Hotels.com, stating that it was their responsibility to contact me and "not her job." Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the interaction. At one point, she essentially told me that there were plenty of hotels in Pittsburgh and that I should go find somewhere else to stay. There was no apology, no effort to help, and no concern for the fact that I was traveling with a sick child late at night. When I asked about a refund, I was told to contact Hotels.com because they should have already processed it. After reaching out to Hotels.com, they had to contact the hotel themselves to verify the cancellation, which only added to the frustration and inconvenience. Mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of customer service, accountability, and compassion in handling this situation was unacceptable. A little empathy and a willingness to help would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would think twice before booking here again."

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Kind staff and very central location"

Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh University Center
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful place to stay but it did not include parking therefore I had to pay $30 to park across the street (and garage itself was confusing)"

Etage Executive Living
10/10 Excellent
"The best"

Springhill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh North Shore
10/10 Excellent
"Property was right across street from PNC park which was great. Parking was very limited due to construction next door. Was charged $27 a day to park the car and were told if we left to drive somewhere they wouldn’t guarantee a spot to park when got back so had to walk everywhere and not go places we wanted to see. Should let people know about parking. Other than that the property was great and staff were very friendly"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh North Shore by IHG
6/10 Okay
"1. Bath tub surface is very slippery-someone will surely fall if something is not done. 2. This morning there was a dog on an upholstered chair. Everyone brings their pets and nothing is done to help people like my husband and I who have severe pet allergies. One stay at a hotel I landed in an ER with a severe allergic reaction. Cleaning the room after a pet was in it does NOTHING to get rid of the dander. EVERY hotel needs to have one room that is pet free. It needs to be THOROUGHLY cleaned and then left empty for a year and then ONLY given to people who ask for a pet free room. Hotels are smoke free-can’t you have a pet free room?"

Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport
8/10 Good
"Disappointed that the property is no longer connected to the Pittsburgh Airport via land bridge. Need to take a shuttle. Bit of a hassle."
