I would recommend staying in Kastraki where this property is located. The village is very relaxed and the views of the spires are much better than those in larger Kalabaka. The monastaries are breathtaking. Just be prepared to navigate a lot of steps. I would definitely stay at Doupiani House Hotel again!"

"The hotel was lovely with beautiful views. The hotel had a charming, traditional village home style. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay very pleasant. There are some restaurants nearby, though the towns are not within walking distance. Since we had a car, this was no problem at all. Breakfast was also very nice and a good start to the day."
