"This was a birthday treat for my wife, so we stayed at a hotel that we had passed many times and heard a lot about. We had a double room but no A/C which was needex. We did find a fan, so we put up with the noise. We looked forward to the lovely pool only to be told it was not in use due to re-tiling, most disappointing. Good news though, the new Spa facilities were now open but the new spa pool was not fit for use. I treated my wife to a massage and I got free use of the sauna's, ice cascade,...

"What a wonderful place Hotel Château de la Côte is, truly magical and fairytale. The food is an absolute must during your stay! The reception and service is fabulous from the Guillaume family. The pool is an oasis on a hot summers day. We stayed in room 23 which is the turret without a roof and gave us access to outside space - we’d always wanted to stay in a Château and in a turret and this did not disappoint."

"We stayed at the Chateau for three days and loved every minute of it! Stephan and Layla were so friendly and helpful, including making dinner reservations for us for two nights of our stay. We ate dinner at the house one of our nights there and it was a wildly delicious meal (including such a beautiful vegetarian meal for me), as were all of our breakfasts. "Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."
