"Crew was amazing, very clean place and unique style"

Tru by Hilton Dallas Downtown Market Center

8/10 Good

"I reserved a fully accessible room. Room was great except for one thing it was on the 2nd floor. All the fire safety signs and directions stated that in case of fire "use stairway to evacuate." How is a wheelchair bound person supposed to do that? There's no instructions, signs or directions for someone in a wheelchair. Nor is there any other any way for me to safely evacuate in case of fire.. It seems to me that the fully accessible rooms would all be on the 1st floor. Also $15 per day for parking is wrong, especially for someone who has already paid to rent a room."

Mint House Dallas Downtown by Kasa

10/10 Excellent

"My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay on the top floor and I definitely loved the washer and dryer. The dryer's steam refresh worked so good; it worked 10x better than my own dryer's steam refresh option. I refuse to iron, and it got the wrinkles out in less than 5 minutes! The staff was incredible and answered my questions in a very polite and quick manner. I hate calling people on the phone (don't most Millennials?) so the fact that I had the option to text and would get an almost immediate response was fantastic. The only gripe I have is that the shower door handle broke off on the inside of the shower. Maintenance did quickly come to fix it, but that handle was heavy and could have did some painful damage to a foot or toe. Thankfully, it didn't, and they fixed it quickly when we told them about it. My boyfriend also noticed that they installed the drawer face under the dishwasher upside down. Not a big deal and he is a Handyman, so of course he would notice those things. LOL. Just a quick FYI is anyone cares and stays in room 5016. You'll notice the smooth part of the drawer that should be on top is on the bottom. No points taken off for that; I just thought it was funny."
