Situated close to a station, the hotel is easily reached and yet very quiet. The room was very clean and the courtyard was pretty. The staff were lovely. The only downside is that the area is a bit rough, but it was only 100m from the station and once inside the hotel it felt very safe.
Good hotel, and good transport links but area around Gürtel is sketchy.

Location and price was good. But the bed was very small and not that comfortable. Good for a one night stay.

The room was a great space for what we needed, the staff were very nice, it was a GREAT location, very convenient for catching the public transportation and there were lots of food options and a DM right by the hotel! The only thing we didn’t like is that they didn’t do housekeeping or collect any trash until the night before we left, which was difficult since we had a toddler with diapers. Otherwise it was a great experience and we would stay again!
The hotel was nice. The staff were great. However, it’s not what I expected. I thought it would be more towards the city center, whereas it was a totally different neighborhood and for myself there really wasn’t much for me to do. I was a little disappointed in that part.
This hotel is the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed in. (I’ve stayed in many). I’ve never stayed in a hostel, but I’m sure a hostel is better. The pictures posted on Expedia are misleading. I booked because of location (close to tram, and to Mariahilf St.). The hotel is so rundown, and not clean. The location is good, but the area right around the hotel is sketchy. I will NEVER stay there again. Expedia should not be listing this property.
The hotel is a basic, simple accommodation with no extras or frills. My room was small but comfortable. Heat was not adjustable, so I often had to keep window cracked. Near a train station that got me everywhere I needed to go. Staff is not on duty overnight so noise was a struggle at times (hotel is very echoey so you hear everything in hallway and in your room). Entry door is locked at night and I never felt unsafe even waking back later after a concert. When I saw staff, they weee kind and helpful. Note: extra towels, sheets, etc. are extra fees so keep in mind if this is something you need.
Hotel shows signs of age and wear but it isn’t broken in any way.
Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would stay again.
Clean and spartan. Desk staff was very friendly. Perfect access to local trans. and half a dozen kabob places on the block.
Was there 5 night; they never freshened up the room. Had to buy toilet paper. Did not try the breakfast.

Disliked: Amenities
First, I was locked out from the hotels maine entrance on Friday night at 03.00. the coded entrance did not work and no one picked up the phone at hotel number. I took me 1 hour to get in by banging the digital key until it worked. No tv in room, no cleaning during stay, at all. Breakfast was not that good. Noice from tre street. Not impressed.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Room was poor, no service at all during the stay, unpleasant smell throughout the hotel.
Ok hotel a bit off Mariahilf. I little odd that they have closed the reception between 12-14h, usually if you arrive before check in it’s common to have a luggage room
Room very basic with no TV. Bathroom separate from WC, which has no wash basin. Breakfast had hot cooked section, which was cold. Cold selection was adequate. Decor generally dated, but has some traditional wood panelling and decorations.
This hotel is so shabby and outdated. I booked it because I was excited to have a bathtub, but filling the tub was a fiasco as the water came out of the tap at a trickle and you had to run the hot and cold separately. Both the tub and the sink had clogged drains and there were blood stains on the sheets. The neighborhood was sketchy and all in all, worst hotel I’ve stayed in in my entire life.
