WOW!

You never really know until you show up and holy moly, we hit the jackpot! Palazzo Suriano is one of the most magical spaces I have ever had the pleasure of spending time in my life. The town of Vietri sul Mare to start is awesome, less tourists than the rest of the coast and lot's of fun places to visit to keep you occupied. The Palazzo is unreal! Our room (Tritone) was amazing! It was spacious and the bathroom was so nice! Breakfast every morning was something to look forward to with the beautiful Virginia offering up fresh baked goodies, juice, and a cappuccino rivaling the best! Local olives and meats were great but the baked goods and jams we're made from fruit grown on the property. It might sound like I'm making this up but it's for real... The Palazzo is on a steep road so you will have to walk a bunch to get around but it will help you keep the pounds off from vacation eating. Robert picked us up with the cool little Suzuki van and dropped us off to Solerno at the bus station. Pro tip: don't bother trying to take the bus to neighboring towns, it's a disaster. Rent scooters! The roads are steep and winding but the pace is slow and it's the best way to get around.

Of all the properties I stayed at in Italy, this one was the greatest, due to its uniquely beautiful setting, inside and out, phenomenal service from beginning to end and a staff that makes you feel like a family member so effortlessly. If you travel to Vietri Sul Mare look no further than this property. Breathtaking views, tremendous dining reservations and only 6 rooms makes this a relaxing, quaint and enjoyable experience as one gets while vacationing!

Geweldig!

Twee dagen verbleven in deze B&B. Paolo, Roberto en de dames van het ontbijt waren erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Mooie, schone kamers. Ontbijt super!! Veel home made producten, zoals jam en cake. Vlakbij het strand! Paolo kan bedjes voor je reserveren met korting. Enige nadeel is dat het hotel vrij hoog ligt, waardoor je een aardige beklimming moet maken om vanaf het strand/dorpje terug naar het hotel te gaan. Voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn is dit niet ideaal. Je moet wel het dorp in om 's avonds te eten, aangezien ze alleen ontbijt serveren. Via hun tuin kom je uit op de parkeerplaats. Ook dit is een aardige klim. Bij aankomst en vertrek staat Roberto ter beschikking om je op te halen/te brengen. Top service!

Palazzo Suriano è veramente stupendo!! ubicazione, scenografia, cordialità ed educazione di tutto lo staff. accoglienza ottima e camera e bagno bellissimi!! oltre alle belle finestre, un oblò dal quale vedi il mare e la spiaggia. L'interno del Palazzo settecentesco, con soffitti e pareti decorate, è curatissimo, come i giardini! La biblioteca , la musica che esce da vecchi grammofoni...veramente un bellissimo soggiorno. Ritorneremo presto!! Ancora tanti complimenti a Paolo, a Virginia e a tutto lo staff! !

Outstanding!!!

The beauty of this hotel and garden is breathtaking, the location is excellent, you are 18 min drive from the port in Salerno where you can jump on a boat and get to all the famous location of the Amalfico, the hotel is just in the beginning of the Amalfico road if you choose to drive (you need a strong heart to drive this road). The breakfast is outstanding, salute to the chef! All the restaurant in the town are excellent. We give this location 10 out of 10!!!!!

Beautiful small inn with great character

Palazzo Suriano is a beautifully decorated and maintained small inn with spacious rooms, beautiful balconies and views. It's perched about 100 feet above the beach level with a five minute walk down to that level for restaurants and about an 8 minute, fairly steep walk back up, but not difficult. Ristorante dal Pescatore by the beach was excellent. On arrival you park in their small private lot on the main road about 60 feet directly above the property and Roberto will meet you in a small van to bring you and your bags down to the hotel, since the small road in is very narrow. Walk back up to your car (if needed) through their beautiful tiered gardens in 3-4 minutes. This was a truly delightful and nearly perfect stopover on our trip through the Amalphi Coast area.

Molto più di un semplice hotel!

Se andate in questo posto tenete a mente che non state andando in un Hotel. State andando in un palazzo storico affacciato sul mare nella costiera amalfitana, è qualcosa di diverso. Il palazzo è curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, dagli interni al giardino, e le camere sono delle vere e proprie opere d'arte. Il check-in è comodissimo (noi siamo stati contattati dal proprietario che ci ha spiegato tutto) e se si arriva in macchina è bene tenere a mente che l'accesso all'hotel è attraverso una stradina molto stretta, quindi fidatevi del proprietario se vi dice di parcheggiarla nel loro parcheggio :) La colazione è semplice, qualche spunto continentale ma se si va di estate si può avere su una terrazza che toglie il fiato. Ci sono salite (o discese, a seconda dei punti di vista) da fare, come ovunque in costiere amalfitana. Semplicemente spettacolare.

Palazzo Suriano has been one of the most amazing places we've stayed in. Getting here: I strongly recommend asking the hotel to schedule a driver for you. It is a little costly, but you'll want a driver who is familiar with getting to the entrance to avoid a steep cobblestone walk from the road. Please be warned that this place isn't easily accessible for those who find it difficult to climb stairs or uphill cobblestone. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the small city below, but may prove difficult to walk back up for those who have problems walking. The rooms and decor are the epitome of a rustic Italian dream. The staff is extremely friendly, the property is breathlessly beautiful, and the small close by city is amazing. This place is perfect for those who don't want to be absolutely surrounded by tourists, but would still like the choice of travelling to Almalfi by boat (30-45 minutes) or by car (1 hour). The beach is within 5-10 minutes walking distance, and a discount for beach chairs and an umbrella was given at the California Beach company since we were staying at the Palazzo Surriano. There are several places nearby to eat (pizzerias, trattorias, gelaterias, and of course fish restaurants). If you want to leave the city, I recommend asking the staff to schedule a driver to visit another area, or in arranging a ride to the nearby marina to hop on a ferry or a tour. Palazzo has a table covered with different activities to do during your stay.

El palazzo es precioso y está situado en un lugar privilegiado, frente al mar. En el mes de Mayo, ha sido un oasis de tranquilidad. El desayuno es saludable, siguiendo la dieta mediterránea y el personal del hotel contribuye a que la estancia sea perfecta!!
