A big thanks to the staff who checked us in at 1am after we'd been stuck in snow for several hours. Room was comfortable and clean. A perfect stop on route to the Santander ferry.

Don’t recommend
The hotel is tired and smells of smoke as you enter-the rooms are stark but the bed is comfortable- the loo was running all night long and the music playing full blast until 3.15 am-not a disco-ten times worse than that plus some very loud dogs barking prior to music starting. I didn’t sleep and blocked my door with a chest of drawers as I didn’t feel very safe in the hotel alone. I found a member of staff sleeping on the sofa (lying down) during the middle of the day in the guests accommodation area which made me feel very nervous. The breakfast was greasy and very expensive for two eggs and bacon. I definately would not stay here again and neither would I recommend to anyone .

We wont be staying here again!
On check-in we were told we had to pay 5 euros more than we had been told we had to pay by Hotels.com on arrival. The unfriendly man on Reception said he did not speak English and although we speak some Spanish he insisted we pay his price or we couldn't check-in. We paid by card and then contacted Hotels.com who immediately phoned the Hotel. The unfriendly and rude Receptionist then gave us back 5 Euros in cash without any apology. I wonder how often this happens? The room was tired and tatty but warm. Cafeteria food good and good location for stopover to Santander Ferry but we wont be staying there again!

Lovely hotel. The location is perfect for a stop over en route to southern Spain. Restaurante is friendly. Rooms are very clean. Car parking is very secure.

A delightful place to spend a night on our travel.
The room we had was one of the cleanest we have had in a long time and couldn’t be faulted. The Restaurant attached was also excellent the staff were very polite and helpful a good selection of food and drinks. We would definitely stay there again

Good stop off point on our travels through Spain off the A1. Value for money overnight stay. Positive was the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel we had an evening meal and breakfast there and it was good value for money. Only negative would be the rooms were clean but a bit dated However overall I would recommend it and would stop again.

We travel with a small dog. Unfortunately there is no dog friendly area to sit in comfort (With heating) and have a drink or bite to eat. We had to sit in the outside covered area with two coats, gloves & scarves on. Other than that it’s fine.

The lobby and restaurant downstairs look very nice and newly renovated. Our room looked ok, but there was a slot of dirt in the corners of the wooden floors that looked very old. And not the standards I would expect for "three stars". The bed was very uncomfortable. The children's area is very nice in terms of size and equipment but the soccer area in there was dirty and there were spots around the slide that smelled a lot like pee or sth. So I guess a good cleaning of this room is needed.

Seemed good value. Good hotel gated car park - reassuring for people going to and from ferries. Bedroom and en suite facilities large and well maintained. Comfortable large double bed. Quiet at night so got good sleep. Bar and snack food area large and comfortable. Wi-fi provided in bar was fine. Interesting furnishings in the public areas. Went there on an earlier trip and was impressed on that trip. Ground floor indoor children’s play area is large, well sound proofed from the bar area where parents can watch. Very popular in weekends for locals. Access from A1 dual carriageway travelling from south is perfect - also fuel station convenient just before the hotel.

Great hotel. Bathroom could do with a spruce up and we would have preferred a double rather than twin beds. But otherwise great place. Handy, clean, friendly, good price.

Très belle bâtisse, magnifique décor intérieur et extérieur. Très bien pour toute la famille. Aménagement spécial enfants. Accept les chiens. Tout est à disposition. Très grande chambre familiale. Très bon restaurant. Point faible, proche de la route, pas d'eau chaude et climatiseur hors fonction.
