"Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. "The room was new and beautiful, the location is great! The only reason for a 4 is it was a little funky getting into the property. It’s all used by an app to unlock the doors. We had trouble getting in, so we called the phone number provided only to be challenged by the grumpy guy on the phone. Once we figured it all out the stay was great. "

"We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel...
