"Pros-
The rooms were fine- small kitchenette, comfortable bed and pillows, water pressure was good, very clean and couldn’t hear noise in corridor.
Staff- friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble.
The Mecure is attached to Bankstown Sports Club. You have the choice of 10 excellent restaurants and cafes. Staff were excellent. Facilities were spotless.
Parking- onsite and free.
Cons-
We started in room 801 which is next to the elevators. You could hear them going up and down...

"This gem is close to Westfield Miranda, buses and the train station.
Lots of cafes and restaurants close by.
My room was spacious and comfortable with loads of natural light. Great comfy bed and terrific pillows. The renovated bathroom was also spacious and I loved the toiletries being supplied.
Parking is available,
Staff are amazing! Friendly and helpful.
It appears to be a hotel that has many repeat guests.
I liked the availability of buying snacks in the lobby.

"Quite disappointing. We checked in late. The room had a bad stale odour - we had to open the balcony doors to air the room - but still didn’t help. Dust buildup on in-room aircon vent and bathroom corners. Bed and pillows were very flat / old / uncomfortable.
Regardless of the place being ‘dated’ - more attention needs to be put on the overall cleanliness.
I’ve stayed at other Rydges hotels which were well maintained and comfortable. However this one set a bad example for the brand."

"Loved the place, good location with free parking.
I was in Sydney for the weekend and had to visit a few places, it was great to have easy secure access to my car, a clean room with a nice bathroom.
Location is just far enough outside of Sydney for what I needed.

"The room had a lovely view of a lake and a park, which I found very surprising considering where it is located. The park view was very relaxing and made our stay that much more pleasant. The restaurant on site was very good, great location, the food was good, nit too expensive and the staff are just lovely. Everyone who helped us from the checkin staff, the restaurant staff and cleaners were all so nice and helpful."
