A great cost-effective alternative to Ohakune if driving north for a day skiing. The rooms, although a little dated are clean and well equipped, and appear to be being gradually modernised over time. Staff are helpful and friendly.

A great place to stay if you're just looking for a place to sleep, or if you're on a budget. The room was pretty dated, but still clean and tidy and that's all we wanted. The owners were lovely and so was the motel cat, who made himself at home with us during our stay.

owner was lovely very helpful. Rooms are basic but standard is very high bed and pillows are super comfy linen is clean, tv has sky and has kettle microwave and toaster water is hot not much more you could ask for would highly recommend
