"From the moment I arrived, I was utterly captivated by the magnificence of Shankara Munduk Bali. I went here with my friend from Japan and they really like it. The villa itself is clean, very affordable price for this luxury accommodation and it’s near from banyumala waterfall and lake tamblingan as well. The breakfast itself, I really love the Munduk Pancake, it’s unique and not too sweet. After went to waterfall, I ate lunch in the villa. The Indonesian food was amazing, love the plating....

"It's a beautiful newish property with spectacular views!! It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly. The only negative is that it is hard to find - no signs on main street and kind of bad path off the main road. The outside of the property seems to be worked on still so hopefully it will all be resolved once finished. Also not much to do right around there - but that is probably the case for many places around Bali."

We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. "Only 7 cabins so it is very quiet and peaceful. Floor to ceiling windows with gorgeous views. The staff are very attentive to every need, even coming to the cabin when they changed water filters to make sure we didn’t drink the water until it was tested. Would definitely go back!"

"The place and the resort are amazing, but the main drawback is that the toilet is located outside the room in an open space. This setup is particularly inconvenient at night. Similarly, the shower is also in an open area, which adds to the discomfort. Dinner is served in very small portions—especially the rice, which was limited to just two tablespoons. Aside from these issues, the location itself is lovely."
