"The staff was very polite, helpful and accommodating. The poor rating is directly related to my experience in the all male dorm rooms. This is not a hiker/traveler hostel. This is a flop house for people down on their luck with no place else to stay for the night. This is not the hotel’s fault as they cannot properly screen their guests without practicing some form of discrimination, it is just the inevitable result of the format. Cheap beds in a gentrified area along a major highway."
