"I made a reservation for March 5, 2025, and arrived at the hotel around 5:30 PM after a long and exhausting journey with my family from Colombo. The road conditions were extremely poor, and the location is very remote, making the trip even more difficult. Upon arrival, there was no welcome or assistance. When I informed the staff that I had a reservation, I was told there was no booking under my name. I showed my reservation number to the property manager, yet they still insisted that no reservation existed. By this time, it was already dark, and we were unfamiliar with the area. We were left without a place to stay, with no support or solution offered by the hotel staff. We had to carry our luggage back to the car and leave, completely exhausted and distressed. No apology or assistance was provided. This was one of the worst and most upsetting experiences I have ever faced."

"This is far from a 4* hotel. The property is VERY run down and so many things are broken. It needs urgent repairs but nobody seems to be bothered. Staff at check in were not bothered at all, take it or leave it attitude. The doorman/porter was the only nice person. Check-in was at 2pm I arrived at 5pm waited for a hour and my room was still not ready. After 2 hours still nothing but nobody was bothered, so I went elsewhere. Overall worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in "

"The bedsheets and mattress were wet and some moist smell was coming. One half of the bathroom sliding door was broken. The beds are very small for twin beds’ size. There was no proper process/queue for check-in. It was not managed properly and anyone was coming in between and was checking in. The hotel seems to be overcrowded. The beach was not accessible. There were stones and fisherman boats were there which made the water smell oily and bad. The only good thing in hotel was swimming pool and food. I tried calling reception to get my room upgraded or changed but the number call was transferred and disconnected eventually. Not sure how it is rated as 5 star. Overall we had a really bad experience, not at all worth the money we spent. "
