"Badly needs to be renovated. Does not meet the typical Hyatt standard. Everything is beat up. Didn't even have snacks/drinks or basic medications available in the lobby. Thankfully it was only one night."

"The hotel is across the street from the south side of the beautiful Drake University so only a 3 block walk to the football/track stadium. The hotel is now about 5 years old. Everything is nice BUT if you want to wash your hands in the bathroom sink, well good luck! The spout is set sooo far back on the countertop, and the faucet spout is sooo short the water barely runs into the sink. There's noooo room to get your fingers behind the water to wash them. It's the same in EVERY room. OTHERS have reviewed the same, so that tells me that corporate doesn't give a dam!!! Just keep taking our money and don't give or fix anything. There are 2 simple fixes but after 5 years, you know the rest of the story. Just another "do nothing" company."

"Bathroom was clean and had what I needed. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was an issue. No food at 9:00 in the morning. Waited for hot food. Waited some more. Nothing. This has happened several other times we were there. No one seems to be working in the breakfast area."

"I stayed here for a conference being held at another hotel, and choosing this location was absolutely the right move. It was only about 8 minutes away and saved me over $100 compared to the conference hotel — and honestly, I think I got the better experience. The vibe of the place is fun and modern. I loved the booth-style seating in the room, and the wallpaper was unusual in the best way — it fit the theme perfectly. Everything was super clean, easy to navigate, and felt fresh. I didn’t try the food, but I did stop by the bar and the service there was great. Check‑in was quick and smooth. The outdoor area had a really cool setup, and while I didn’t use the pool, it looked very inviting. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to others."
