"I was really happy with everything. The bathtub could use new caulking. When I checked in I had to pay an extra $50.00 deposit I'm not sure what for but hoping it will be refunded. I had prepaid my visit. The yard was well lite and keep very nice. It felt safe for someone coming and going in the dark. The rooms were pretty quiet- not a lot of outside noise. Blackout curtains were nice. I'll probably be going back."

"Honestly I would advise spending as much time as you can at the hotel. Waxahachie has a lot of fun things to do but you won’t find more history than inside the hotel."

"I needed to stay overnight somewhere because I was traveling from Houston to Arlington for World Cup. This hotel is conveniently located right between Houston and Arlington, about a 25 minute drive to Arlington. It was very clean and tidy, and breakfast was included."

"Very nice stay. Breakfast was not good. All staff was nice. The night receptionist was amazing. She greated us every time we went by and made sure we was comfortable and not in need of anything."

"The staff were very kind professional and very responsive. The lodging appearance looked ok but closer look was a filth! Outside the door were dust if one were to lean on the wall!, sheets are not beinchanged from previous used on both beds in room I booked - stains of body fluid including blood on the sheets. The towels are filthy with stains ! The microwave was very very disgusting, inside is rusted both ceiling and floor of it . I managed to use it to heat water for tea in a paper coffee cup...

"Microwave broke the first night, with food in it. Girl at the front desk was awesome, but no other microwave was available. Not so much a big deal. Was there for a softball tournament but the pool was closed so no cooling off for her after games. It’s July seriously why is the pool closed? Another guest commented it hasn’t been open in a while. Also trash left all outside room doors, guests do what they do but seriously it looks trashy. I asked the guy at front desk if there was a dumpster I...
