Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hudson I-94 by IHG

"The reception staff were great and facility very well located. It is within walking distance of several restaurants: Culvers, Mexican, BBQ, Jimmy Johns. There is a Walgreens within walking distance and two major coffee chains. Breakfast was very good and they had a lot of options for people. The coffee was acceptable but if the machine needs to be replaced get one that allows the user to adjust the grind, regular vs bold. I thought the coffee was a bit weak. When we checked in the room was clean, however housekeeping was inconsistent. The plastic bag for the ice bucket was never replaced. The staff twice forgot to replace the plastic liner in the garbage can in the main room. The staff never emptied the bathroom garbage can. The staff did make the bed satisfactorily and replace towels. I would stay here again."

"Very good breakfast, although the coffee was not consistent. Somewhat noisy room - strange clicking noises during the night. Had difficulty figuring out initially the heat/AC. The room was dark - not very well-lighted. TV remote did not function properly. Don't get me wrong - the overall experience was fine. But there is always room for improvement!"

"This place was a positive, clean experience all around. From the moment we walked into the lobby we smelled the pool and that's a clean smell. The rooms smelled clean also not gross from old smoke that's covered up with sprays. Everything was organized and clean. Staff very attentive and friendly. I was actually surprised because to be honest I booked a less expensive place since was just 1 night passing through the area and didn't want to spend a lot. It was not a chain motel name and looked to be an older model place but we were pleasantly surprised. Upon visiting with another couple in the hot tub we found they felt the same. This is a very well kept place to stay!!!"
