"Our 3 night stay at The Blue Elk Inn was perfect, room was clean, spacious and so quiet. The property location was very clise to the Village yet far enough away in the peaceful forested setting. Bed was very comfortable and a/c worked extremely well as it was very hot when we visited. Pool was never busy and was a great temperature. Complimentary breakfast was excellent."

"If you're looking for basic but trustworthy accommodations, this is it! The rooms were a little dated but very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The breakfast area is also the lobby where you check in, so it can be pretty cozy. But it was a decent spread and served hot. They have a pool but it's very small, and if there's kids in there, basically not usable by anybody else. However, there's a huge public pool literally on the other side of the fence! Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect, across the street from the entrance to Front St, so all the action is close at hand without bothering you at nighttime. We would stay again for a quick trip/overnight stay."
