The communal area was very large and beautifully decorated. We loved the space and vintage decor along with hanging in this area with friends and family. However, the room was very small with no dressers or draws to put stuff. Also, there was no breakfast. When we booked, 3rd party website said breakfast was included. Although, we did like the unlimited hot chocolate, coffee options and filtered water. The MOOver was great as well. It shuttled us to the mountain very easily and conveniently.

Love the common area to meet with friends and have coffee , dinner together. Outdoor jacuzzi is great 👍 Not quiet enough , can hear people talking and walking in the hall way.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location, at the base of Mt. Snow is great. The hotel had nice decor and a free coffee bar. No breakfast, but that was ok. We never saw anyone that worked there, but that was ok too as we were sent our room # and code on the day of check-in and never had any issues.

Clean room and bathroom, decent mattress. Property being reimagined so no dining available, coffee station and communal microwave located downstairs and not mentioned by on site staff upon arrival, found while checking out the grounds. No fridge or vending machines. Room heater did not seem to work. Not ideal for my stay.

Check in was very stressful. There was no one there to assist,when could not access room. Also had 2 rooms booked which at first could not be found. It would be helpful to always have someone or a contact number that can assist a person eho is not computer or technology savy Been to this propertyseveral times however when there was someone avaiable and loved my stay. Enjoy the property overall

The host was very accommodating and the rooms were sufficient, however the conditions of the rooms and the rest of the inn shown in the pictures is not currently as listed. The indoor lounge, dining, and game area were not accessible due to renovations. The room we stayed did not appear to be in the same condition as the room listed on the booking site. There was not any obvious indication to us in the listing that not all rooms were updated and the rest of the inn was being renovated, we weren’t aware until we arrived to check in to our room. It seems like it will be lovely when the renovations are finished, but we felt like the listing should make travelers aware in advance and rates should be adjusted accordingly.

It was quite evident the Mountaineer Inn is taking a nod from Air BnB industry. Registration, payment, key codes are all text message based. The property is under extreme renovation. No room service unless you fill out a door hanger card and check the boxes. Rooms are heated with baseboard heating without controls in the room. Had to offset the "sauna" with the air conditioner. No chairs in the room. Carpeting had to be 20 years old. Literally a bed, nightstands, bureau. I didn't find the "hidden" USB port next to the nightstand until I was leaving. TV was outdated as there was no streaming capability. Ugghhhh!! Disappointed for 3 nights.

Not what it looks like in the pictures

The room was nothing like it showed in the posting. It was dark and dingy, when in the photos it looks very modern and bright. Bathroom was very small, very outdated unlike the pictures. There is no one to really help you as there’s not really a front desk. I left my phone in the room after we checked out, my phone had the code to the room on it so I didn’t remember it. Obviously it’s my fault I left it in the room but I couldn’t find a single person that works there to help open the door. It was a miracle that my boyfriend remembered the code, so we were able to get in, but still very frustrating. When in the bathroom you could hear the people next to you talking. Very uncomfortable. It felt almost like the beginning of a horror movie. Overall, it is false advertising. I don’t recommend.
