"When we checked in, we were unexpectedly hit with a $34.50 per day Destination fee. We protested but were told that it was mandatory. We had no choice and it added $168 to our trip. Plus it put us in a negative frame of mind toward the hotel and the staff who had to defend it. I would never stay at a Westin again."

"Great hotel and greater burgers at the lobby restaurant. The gym is very good and big. Centrally located in French Quarter, but away from noise. Perfectly located for the NOLA Jazzfest."

"Horrible water pressure. The door deadbolt was broken. They made us change rooms and we had to take out luggage because there was no space. Front counter night staff was rude."
