"The property is clean and well maintained given that it is an old building with a fun past! The hotel is located in the business part of downtown so it was quieter that other areas. The hotel staff was attentive. Mike is an EXCELLENT bartender and gave great recommendations for dinner options that were within walking distance. We had a King Suite which I thought would be great since our teenage daughter was staying with us for a couple of the nights and could sleep on the sofa bed. ...

"Everything was absolutely great! I got great comments about how nice the place was. My room was very tasteful and adequately sized. I loved, loved, loved my stay. I hopped on the bus to get around. Parking wasn't too bad a few blocks away. Within walking distance of a couple restaurants I like and Hennepin Ave! My room was very clean every day when I came back. I interacted with polite staff. Just terrific!"

"It's hard to quantify "good taste", but this hotel has it in spades. The style hearkens back to a Victorian hotel, and the staff were very helpful. It's a beautifully-maintained property. And dinner at their on-site restaurant was superb."

"The location was just perfect to where we needed to be. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. Couldn't hear lots of noise which made for a restful sleep. The best surprise was the bar! We loved all the drinks there. 100/100 in taste, design, and the bar staff was so fun and friendly. Will definitely go back at this hotel if we are in MN again."

"It was only myself so the no dresser was perfect. I liked the knobs to hang clothes. It was clean and I loved no carpet. The smell of the hotel was fabulous. I wish they would sell that!"

"Room had a musty odor the entire time and shower head is in need of replacement (sprayed everywhere and was not enjoyable). Only had one person checking out in the morning and had to wait a decent amount of time. I told him about the odor but he was frazzled with customers and phone ringing that I doubt anything will be addressed with the room. I’d recommend avoiding room 585. "

"We apparently had a handicapped accessible room, as there was a lot of empty floor space, multiple grab bars in the bathroom, and no shower curtain (!) There was also almost no counter space in the bathroom. Had to pay $35 for parking in the nearby garage."

"Being renovated. Nice room only probably was the shower water never got hot. It was warm. I’m guessing this is due to renovations being made."

"Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of food options. The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation. Valet parking was the easiest and best option but I feel it's way over priced."
